Indian students studying in Singapore would feel right at home because English is commonly spoken here and the majority of Singaporeans understand it. On the Global Employability University Ranking 2015, the National University of Singapore (NUS) is ranked 17th, and Nan yang Technological University is ranked 117th, showing that degrees from well-known Singapore institutes are recognized internationally by employers. The Singapore government created this program for all foreign (non-Singaporean) students as a way to make tuition more affordable. If you are an overseas student taking a full-time undergraduate or diploma degree, the government will subsidize (reduce) your course fee if you sign a contract agreeing to serve in Singapore for at least three years following graduation.
